Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the Stamp mobile application (“Stamp”, “the App”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles information when you install, open or interact with the App. Stamp is built to turn your photos into collectible stamps without asking you to hand over anything about yourself, and this policy describes exactly where the line sits. By installing or using Stamp, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the App and remove it from your device.

2. Definitions

For clarity, the following terms are used throughout this policy:

• App — the Stamp mobile application available on iOS.
• Device — any iPhone on which the App is installed.
• Local Data — photos, stamps, scrapbook pages, reels and settings that are stored solely on your Device and never uploaded to our servers.
• Personal Data — information that can directly identify an individual, such as a full name, postal address or email address.
• Anonymous Data — information that cannot reasonably be linked back to a specific person, such as aggregated usage metrics.
• Service Provider — a third-party company that processes data on our behalf under a contractual data-processing agreement.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Data stored only on your device

The following items live exclusively in the App's sandboxed storage on your Device. They are not transmitted to us:

• Photos you shoot in the App or pick from your photo library.
• The stamps cut from them, together with their captions, tags, dates and collections.
• Scrapbook pages you compose and the reels you render from your stamps.
• The place attached to a stamp, if you chose to attach one.
• Your settings: language, chosen camera and cut style, onboarding state, and whether Stamp Plus is unlocked.

3.2 Anonymous data we receive

To improve the App, we rely on Service Providers that send us only aggregated or pseudonymous information:

• App open events, screen views and feature interactions such as “a stamp was created” or “an export finished” (Firebase Analytics).
• Device model, iOS version, language and country-level region.
• Crash reports, including stack traces and device state at the moment of failure (Firebase Crashlytics).
• Ad impression and tap counters supplied by the ad network.

3.3 What we explicitly do not collect

Stamp does not request, log or store the following at any time:

• Your real name, email address, phone number or postal address.
• The content of your photos, stamps, captions, tags, scrapbook pages or reels — none of it is uploaded, and no one but you ever sees it.
• The coordinates attached to your stamps. Location, when you allow it, is read on the Device and written next to the stamp there; it is never sent to us or to any Service Provider.
• Your contacts, calendars, health data or microphone audio.

4. Third-Party Services

Some functionality is powered by trusted Service Providers. Each has its own privacy practices, which we recommend reviewing:

• Google Firebase — Analytics and Crashlytics. See Firebase Privacy.
• Google AdMob — serves the advertising shown in the free version of the App. See Google Ad Policies.
• Apple — the App Store processes the Stamp Plus purchase and tells the App only whether it is active. See Apple Privacy.

We do not sell, rent or trade information with parties beyond those required to operate and improve the App.

5. How We Use Data

The limited information we receive is used solely to:

• Diagnose crashes and fix bugs that affect your experience.
• Understand which features are popular so we know what to improve.
• Display, frequency-cap and measure the effectiveness of advertising.
• Confirm your Stamp Plus entitlement so ads and limits are removed.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not run profiling, automated decision-making or any process that would have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

6. Advertising

The free version of Stamp displays banner, rewarded and app-open advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. There are no interstitial ads. Ads are selected based on broad device signals and, where you have granted Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission, optionally on personalised advertising identifiers. Stamp asks for that permission before the ad SDK starts.

You can disable personalised advertising at any time:

• Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and toggle Stamp off.
• Or turn off Personalised Ads under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.

Disabling personalised advertising does not remove ads, but it ensures they are served using only non-identifying contextual signals. Purchasing Stamp Plus removes every ad in the App, and the ad SDK stops running.

7. Purchases

Stamp Plus is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Your name, payment card and billing address never reach us — the App receives only a signal that the purchase is active, which it uses to unlock unlimited stamps, every pack, ad-free use and watermark-free export.

You can restore the purchase on any device signed in to the same Apple ID from Settings tab → Restore purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

8. Permissions

Stamp asks for four iOS permissions, each only when the feature that needs it is used:

• Camera — to take the photo that becomes a stamp.
• Photo library — to pick an existing photo, and to save an exported page or reel when you ask for it.
• Location, while in use — optional, only to attach a place to a stamp. Every location prompt offers “Not now”, and declining leaves the rest of the App fully usable.
• Tracking — optional, only for the advertising described in Section 6.

All four can be withdrawn at any time in iOS Settings → Stamp.

9. Data Retention

Local Data persists on your Device until you delete it inside the App or remove the App. Anonymous diagnostic and analytics data held by our Service Providers is retained according to their respective retention schedules — typically 14 to 60 days for raw events and up to 14 months for aggregated reports.

Removing the App from your Device permanently deletes all Local Data. There is no separate “delete account” step because no account exists. Note that an encrypted iPhone or iCloud backup may still contain a copy of the App's data; that backup is under your Apple ID, not ours.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect the limited information we handle:

• Your photos, stamps and pages are stored inside the App's iOS sandbox, which prevents access from other apps.
• All network traffic between the App and our Service Providers is sent over TLS 1.2 or higher.
• We follow the principle of least privilege when accessing analytics and crash dashboards.

No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will notify users in-app and through the support channel listed below.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have one or more of the following rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe), CCPA (California) or other regional regulations:

• The right to access information held about you.
• The right to request correction or deletion of that information.
• The right to object to or restrict certain types of processing.
• The right to opt out of personalised advertising.
• The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Because Stamp does not collect identifying information, we usually cannot tie a specific request to a specific person. The most reliable way to exercise these rights is to delete individual stamps and pages inside the App or uninstall it, which removes all Local Data, and to disable personalised advertising on your Device as described in Section 6.

12. Children's Privacy

Stamp is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable material, but it is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. The free version does display third-party advertising. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

The Stamp app links out only to Apple's Standard EULA, this privacy page and the support page. Any other references on this page point to third-party documents and are listed here on the website only, for transparency about the Service Providers we work with.

14. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements or our practices. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent revisions took effect. Material changes will be highlighted within the App. Continued use of Stamp after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
